Recording your voice intro

Learn how to record a great voice intro that gets responses.

A voice intro is a 30-60 second audio recording that replaces a cover letter. It's recorded directly in the app, no app download required.

How to record:

  1. Go to your profile and tap "Record voice intro."
  2. Speak naturally, introduce yourself, your trade, years of experience, and what you're looking for.
  3. You can re-record as many times as you want before saving.
  4. Once saved, it's attached to every application you submit (you can toggle it off per application).

Tips for a great intro: - Keep it under 60 seconds - Mention your specific trade, certifications, and experience (e.g. "Red Seal electrician, 8 years industrial") - Say what kind of work you're looking for and where you're willing to travel - Speak clearly and in a quiet environment

You don't need to be polished. Employers appreciate authentic intros from real tradespeople more than rehearsed scripts.
