How credential verification works

WrkCrew verifies credentials directly against issuing-body records. You upload once, your verified status carries across every application.

The process:

1. During onboarding, add your certifications (Red Seal, Working at Heights, WHMIS, CWB tickets, etc.).
2. Upload a photo of the credential document or certificate number.
3. WrkCrew cross-references against provincial apprenticeship boards, Red Seal program records, and other issuing bodies.
4. Verified credentials get a green checkmark on your profile, visible to all employers.

Verification typically takes 1-2 business days. Some credentials verify in minutes when issuing-body APIs are available.

You can apply while verification is pending. Employers see "Verification pending" status, most still consider your application.
